Cacheon
Corporate Web Site & Brand Identity

The Challenge
After conducting a thorough corporate identity audit with Fathom, Cacheon recognized the need for a branding and messaging overhaul. We initiated the effort by redesigning their corporate logo and made our way to the web site. Since applying the new brand companywide was an urgent matter, it was imperative to build all marketing materials in tandem. Therefore, branding concepts would need to be applied to multiple branding components in order to properly evaluate their strength. This makes for a large effort upfront but yields a thoroughly researched solution as a result.

The Process
When producing several marketing tools in tandem, it becomes imperative to ensure consistency accross the board. This was especially true with the site since it acted as their primary marketing tool. A simple grid was created and combined with open spaces to produce an unintimidating environment for users to explore. Imagery consisted of approachable individuals, used sparingly throughout the site. It was imperative for users to access their final destination quickly, therefore, an expanding navigation was developed on all levels. Since the site would be accessed by users with very different profiles, we developed a layout solution that was successful and sensitive to everyone's palette.

Partner pages used color palettes specific to their unique brands, then overlayed onto the Cacheon corporate web site format.

The Solution
The introduction of the new brand was well received and translated well across a variety of formats. The web site resulted in a solution that was intuitive and rich with valuable information. It became a key mechanism to distribute information and generate leads for sales efforts. The sites' modular construction allowed updates to be simple and easily performed by their internal marketing team.
